Disneyrewind - June 13, 1973 Skylab makes detailed study of Urbanisation of the Walt Disney World region
Astronauts Charles Conrad, Joseph Kerwin and Paul Weitz spend day 20 of their 28 day mission trying to determine what effects the sudden urbanisation of region from Walt Disney World down to Cape Canaveral Florida. Using a number of instruments and highly detailed photographs they are hoping to better understand urbanisation impacts on natural systems.
