Disneyrewind - June 14, 1974 - The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue opens in Pioneer Hall at Walt Disney World's Fort Wilderness Campground

The Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, our absolute favorite dinner show at Walt Disney World, hands down beats the Spirit of Aloha for both food choices and it's also air conditioned!!!  Of course, I'm a cornbread nut, and they drop a big ol' square of corn bread and butter to your table.  Table service is all pewter, I think just just to help make more ambient noise in the theater. The waitresses and waiters even make a theatrical entrance with your dinner and loudly slam it down on your table.  I just don't think you can watch this show without smiling at least once, no matter how bad of a day you may have had, but you're in the "Happiest Place on Earth", so bad days just don't happen. Am I right? Leave your stresses at the gates.

Just remember to allow yourself plenty of time to get there, as Fort Wilderness is only available by about 2 bus transfers or go to the Magic Kingdom and catch a boat launch.

After catching the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, make sure you hang around on the dock to watch The Electrical Water Pageant.

What are some of your favorite shows at Walt Disney World?
