Disneyrewind - June 21, 1988 Who Framed Roger Rabbit premieres in New York City

The Touchstone/Amblin Entertainment film Who Framed Roger Rabbit premieres at Radio City Music Hall in New York. It will be generally released in U.S. theaters the following day. This film marks the first and only time that characters from several animation studios - including Disney, Universal, MGM, Republic, Turner Entertainment, and Warner Bros. - appear in one film.

You know I don't think I've ever seen a bad Robert Zemeckis film and Who Framed Roger Rabbit is no exception. It's integration of live action and animation was the best that had been done to date and probably the first that didn't look like 2 things that were put together in an editors studio. But the part that is most remembered  to me  was the dualing pianos scene with Walt Disney's Donald Duck and Warner Brother's Daffy Duck.

I've always wished this movie could have more placement in Walt Disney World but I understand the licensing nightmares that would exist. Licensing unrelated I always wished Pixar had more placement at Walt Disney World, especially Wall-E and UP.
